Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Gaines - 6.22.18
This past June I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful Friday afternoon wedding. Bride, Allie & I were worried all week with the impending forecast of storms headed for the Indianapolis area. We got super lucky with a beautiful, cool, overcast day. Couldn't have asked for better weather to celebrate this beautiful couple.
I also had done their engagement photos late last fall, so being able to photograph this wedding was something I had been looking forward to for a long time.
Here's some highlights from their day!
Bride & Groom exiting the temple as husband and wife!
Bride & Mom sharing a sweet moment.
Bride, Groom, & Parents posing for some lovely family shots outside.
Bridal party with cute signs showing how they met the bride, Allie.
Groom & groomsmen having some fun mid-air.
The full party!
The ladies trying to pick up the groom.
Luckily, he caught himself on his way down, haha!
Take 2 went much better! Even got a thumbs up this time around!
And their attempt at picking the bride up! She looked a little scared.
She made it!
After pictures at the temple, we headed to the Barn in Zionsville for a ring ceremony, followed by the lovely reception.
Bridal party walking down the aisle in the beautiful weather.
The flower girl!
Everyone stunned by Allie's beauty, especially her father.
Smiles during some ceremony speaking.
So many emotions! That face!
The epic kiss shot Allie requested!
After dinner, the cake cutting was next up!
Followed by the dances
This daddy-daughter dance had me in tears within seconds
& Groom danced to "I'll be in your heart" with mom, which is one of my favorites. Good choice!
Mama wiping away those tears.
Wrapped up the evening with a bouquet and garter toss.
Check out dad's face in the background. DYING!
