Sophie's Holcomb Garden Senior Session

Last Thursday I headed out to Holcomb Garden’s on the beautiful campus of Butler in Indianapolis to photograph Miss Sophie, it was a blast. Sophie is a member of my class of 2020 senior rep team and I am so happy to have her. We chatted about dogs and her wanting to do all seasons of senior sessions (love that idea!!). She brought her boyfriend Ethan along for the session and he was great at taking behind the scenes photos and making Sophie giggle. We even finished off the session taking a few shots of the two of them. I absolutely love when my seniors bring loved ones and they snap a few memories with them during our shoot (at no extra cost of course!).

For this session, I decided to include all her edited images in one blog so that you can see what a full senior gallery would look like. She gets tons of options so that she can pick her favorites and the ones she feels most confident in. I promise 40 edited images with each one hour senior session and 60 edited images with my upgraded session. Along with her cute outfit choices, she also brought awesome accessories. I am a sucker for a good sunhat or whatever accessories you can bring to personalize your senior session.

When I started talking to Sophie about where she wanted her senior photos done, she mentioned waiting until next spring to get pictures with flowers. After many years of photographing clients, I’ve learned that summer is actually the best time for fresh blooms. The past few years we really haven’t had much of a spring, so get those wildflowers in now! And summer flower pictures come with the added bonus of being tan for your portraits!
