Tayler + Dylan // a July Wedding in Veedersburg, Indiana // The Hideaway at Crazyman's

Yesterday I got to capture the details, emotions, love, and even the hard work that went into planning Tayler & Dylan’s big day. When I met Tayler, we instantly got along, she is so much like me in the sense that she puts a lot of effort into planning things so that they go as expected. This aspect of her personality was probably a big reason that their day was so great. Her wedding was one of the only weddings I’ve ever photographed that has stayed on schedule all day. As with all my brides, we created the final timeline a couple weeks before her wedding and even though she was worried the boys were going to be a little behind, no one was, which made photos and their day much less stressful!

When I began photographing the details she had ready for us when we got there, I knew it was going to be a great day. Loved her little touches of country mixed with elegance.

Tayler thought of everything, from how she could incorporate Dylan’s career, a cattle farmer, into their day(cow tag table numbers were the cutest everrrrrr), how they could keep the kiddos entertained during the reception, and even time to sneak out for sunset pictures later in the day. It was a good thing she was able to schedule this time with just the photo/video team when the sun wasn’t as harsh and the temps weren’t as high as mid-day.

Some of the highlights of the day included amazing food (guys, mac n cheese & hashbrown casserole!!!), an ice cream sundae bar, a great DJ that got people dancing (along with the open bar), and the toasts. Her dad gave an awesome speech based on how the two were raised and even brought props to get his message across to Dylan and the guests. The maid of honor was holding back tears as she told Tayler that “god knew we needed each other as much as our husbands needed each other". The best man spoke about how he met Dylan at only five years old and even what it was like to grow up with Dylan’s family in his life. This made Dylan’s mom yelling “Be nice Dylan!!” during the cake cutting even more hilarious.

I was so happy to join Tayler and Dylan to celebrate their love in Veedersburg. The Hideaway at Crazyman’s was an amazing wedding venue with so many great options for rustic wedding many dream of. I hope to photograph Tayler & Dylan more in the future as they build their life together. Congratulations you two, cheers to many more years of happiness together.

Please enjoy these photos of their lovely stress-free day this past Saturday :)
