Sophie's Broad Ripple Senior Session // Broad Ripple // Indianapolis, IN

Sharing Sophie’s gallery from this past week. We ventured around Broad Ripple around sunset (thank goodness because it was hot & humid). She brought her mom along to help with carrying things, hair, and laughs. I love it when seniors bring someone they are close with to make them giggle and just be themselves. As I mentioned, bringing someone along that can tell you when your hair is blowing all over or just to help carry clothing, props, and accessories.

Many seniors shy away from doing downtown/city sessions because they fear they’ll miss out on the nature that only blooms for so long in Indianapolis, but cities can have plenty of greenery as you’ll see below. You can’t really go wrong with selecting places like Broad Ripple, Downtown Noblesville, or even Downtown Indianapolis for your senior pictures. They offer so many unique options and great backgrounds.

Also, I wanted to share these and talk about how one pose can have several different images included in your gallery. This is awesome because you’ll get different facial expressions and angles so you can easily pick your favorites. I say that seniors can pick their favorites, but honestly, with galleries this amazing, it’s hard to pick favorites, they’re all my favorites.

I love that I was able to capture Sophie’s outgoing personality through these photos. I loved chatting with her and her mother and using the scenery for a great senior session.
