Hannah + Brady - an Elegant winter wedding at the Conservatory at Evergreen in Indianapolis
The day began with a sense of anticipation as I arrived at the Conservatory at Evergreen, a new venue nestled in the heart of Indianapolis. Stepping into the venue bathed in natural light and surrounded by beautiful indoor plants, I knew this would be the perfect setting for an lovely wedding.
Before the ceremony, the couple requested a trip to the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway for portraits that would capture the couple's adventurous spirit. The empty track, filled with the echoes of past memories of glorious race days, provided a perfect backdrop for our portraits. After a quick trip to IMS, we wrapped up bridal party portraits in the wonderful Downtown Speedway. It was great using the murals and classic brick around the area.
Following the portraits, we returned to the Conservatory at Evergreen for the ceremony. It was their offciant’s last ceremony as he was retiring after marrying over 600 couples! It was certainly a unique ceremony and the glow of the sunset beamed in through the large glass walls of the venue.
As everyone enjoyed cocktail hour, the ceremony space at the Conservatory at Evergreen was transformed into a glorious, elegant reception space. Adorned with twinkling lights and elegant decor, it provided the perfect setting for an evening of celebration. They even had signature cocktails named after their fur babies (how cute!!)
The bride and groom and all of their family and friends really knew how to party. The dance floor was staying pretty full all night and the spirits were high.
But perhaps the most unique touch of all came at the end of the evening, when the couple served Handel's Ice Cream—a delicious treat to cap off a perfect day. Among the flavors, I had: Oree-Dough, a delightful blend of Oreo cookies and cookie dough. (Definitely go try it if you haven’t!)
