Brittany + Nick - a spring engagement session in Carmel, Indiana

Last week I met with one of my October couples to photograph their engagement pictures (complimentary with their wedding package, aye!)

Brittany + Nick have been together for ten years but known each other much longer than that, how cool. They have two children, two dogs, and have had some oopsies with their pet rabbits. Their original rabbits let to a much bigger pack, but now they’re down to only 5.

They also told me about how they live on a large property, many many acres, with a barndominium that they live in. Hello, that is my DREAM. I am so excited to photograph their wedding this October on their property. Especially with how big it is, we will have lots of options for photos! I love exploring and taking lots of photos of my couples, especially at sunset.

These two were so fun to photograph and kept each other laughing. You could tell these two have so much chemistry and that makes my job that much easier. They also kept the conversation going with me + were so down to earth and easy to talk to. I always appreciate that when meeting new people. Lots of people don't guess this about me, but I am a huge introvert. I really don’t seem like it during my sessions, but I appreciate easy conversations and lots of laughs.

These two are going to have a lovely wedding and I am honored to photograph it. But for now, I’ll share these lovely spring engagement photos with you taken in Carmel, Indiana. I was thankful for some color and blooms to make these actually look like spring. Thank you Mother Nature for an early spring and warm weather.
