Hannah + Evan - a romantic downtown Indianapolis engagement session

Spring feels like it’s here to stay, spring showers, early blooms, warmer weather, and of course, engagement sessions (my personal fav!).

Hannah + Evan are getting married this September in Seymour, followed by a lovely reception in Columbus. I am stoked to capture their big day. Since we are still in the middle of a pandemic, we hadn’t met in person until this engagement session. Personally, I LOVE including engagement sessions in my wedding packages to have a chance to get to know my couples. It really helps me gauge their personalities before their wedding day and work together before the wedding. It really is so important! Plus who doesn’t love some good pictures together before the wedding?! Many couples don’t regularly do pictures together, so I love offering this experience to them.

Hannah and Evan live downtown and wanted me to come down there to capture some awesome pictures. When I got there, I was super excited when I parked and saw all the gorgeous blooms (not as excited by how they smell, dead fish amiright?!) As we chatted, I got to hear about how they met and their plans on potentially adopting a dog. Being the crazy dog mom I am, I highly encrouaged them to get the dog! They both seemed to want, but there’s always nerves and hesitation when it comes to big responsibilities like that!

We explored near the circle in Ind, as well as the short drive to the Fountain Square area (one of my personal favorites). I love the variety in this session + the love these two have for each other. They’re going to be the best dog parents and I can’t wait to capture their big day!
