Mr. & Mrs. Gorski // 9.14.19 // Avon Wedding Barn

I’ve been photographing Emma’s important moments for a while now, so I was overjoyed when she asked me to photograph one of the biggest days of her lives.

Back in March of 2018, Tom reached out to me knowing that Emma trusted me to capture all of life’s special moments. He asked me to come when he proposed and it was such a special moment.

Today was filled with lots of love from the family and friends closest to Emma and Tom. They chose Avon Wedding Barn to host their big day. I had never worked there before, but after today I am glad I got the chance to! It was a beautiful venue, had tons of great photo spots, and even custom charm inside and outside of the barn. I used lots of the venues personal touches in my detail photos, which I was so excited about. From the lace to even the ornate rugs, everything was gorgeous!

We lucked out with the most beautiful late summer day. High in the low 80s with a nice breeze, no chances of rain.

Emma & Tom wrote their own vows, which they shared under the big tree they were married under. It was tear-jerkingly beautiful.

After the ceremony we took photos & we got the most gorgeous veil shot. Whenever I do veil shots with my couples, I always joke about being the third wheel under the veil, getting up close and personal, but really its worth it for the shot.

One of my favorite parts was guests left pennies on the ground because Tom mentioned Emma turning “sad pennies” (tails up) into “happy pennies” (heads up) when they first met.

All in all it was a perfect day, I can’t wait to finish their entire beautiful gallery, but for now, enjoy these sneak peeks for a quick image recap of their day.
