Ellie & Maliyah Pup Mini Sesh // Downtown Carmel, Indiana

Last week I had a previous senior client message me and ask about gifting a mini session with their dogs to her friend (whose pictures I also did this summer). I was ecstatic! If you know me, I am a little obsessed with pups. My puppy is basically my child so when Ellie asked me to do this I jumped on it.

We spent the evening walking around Downtown Carmel with the pups, Beans (lil one) and Annie (big one). They were both so excited and photogenic. We took posed, candids, and even photos of them loving on their dog. From one dog owner to another, I know how much these photos mean now, and how much they’ll mean down the road. Dogs aren’t with us forever, but the memory of their friendship can be, especially if you do a session with them!

I love that these two were up for everything, including getting their dog pup cups from Bub’s. Every good boy deserves a treat and an evening out on the two every once in a while. It was funny because both of these babies refused the whip cream pup cup for them and opted to share ice cream with the girls. Cracked me up.

I also loved that these sessions made the friendship that Ellie and Maliyah share obvious. What a fun thing to do with your bestie. I am wondering why I didn’t do a dog photo session with my best friend in high school.

This inspired me to plan pet mini sessions so I am able to do this for more pet owners. Mark your calendars because September 29 is my pet mini session day this year. If all goes well, I may make this an annual thing. I love dogs and would love to meet others precious fur babies. (Sign up HERE)
